..."Love Will Keep Us Together"...

Love will keep us together!

Dadda and Momma

Nakie Baby!

Momma and Lillie

Cutest little baby butt ever!

Lillie is doing fabulously! She is over ten pounds! (We must really feed her well!) She is just a few days away from being 3 months old. I can't believe that time could possibly fly so fast. I guess the days goes by more quickly once you have kiddos. We're so lucky that Zachary has a good job (not to mention that he works a million hours) so I'm able to stay home with her right now and take care of her, watch her grow and see her learn to do new things. I tell her everyday just how lucky she is to have a daddy like Zac. Because it is true! Without him she'd be off in some daycare, with a dozen snotty-sneezy-coughing-germy children running around her. Which, I've been told, is not all that conducive to a healthy preemie baby! (Or any kid for that matter.) She has just started to smile at Momma...ON PURPOSE! It's the most glorious thing to see too. Honestly, how could seeing that big ol' gummy smile not make me smile?! Impossible! I mean she has pretty much been doing the grinning thing while she falls asleep and when she's gassy for a while (which was cute)...But this new big smile that she found is priceless. Ahhh!
We are still trying to get rid of her awful reflux. I know it must be super uncomfortable for her. Especially since she's known to cry right before her food shoots out of her nose. That to me says "owwy". Poor baby. I tried rice cereal first, because I thought it would be a good idea to try a non-drug way to fix the problem. That plan bombed. But I do think we'll keep her on it because it satisfies her for longer. I'm not sure that most 3 month olds still eat every 2-3 hours. With the cereal atleast we get a little closer to going 3 hours between feedings. I guess that's a plus. So anyway, we have her on Zantac. She has been on that for 4 days now...and so far it hasn't made all that much of an improvement. Maybe a small one. I don't know if I'm expecting too much out of the Zantac, but I'm pretty sure I'd like to find something that gets rid of her spitting up all the time completely. I know that babies spit up, but I don't think shooting it out your nose is normal! That's what I want to get rid of for her.
Let's see...Zachary and I are doing just fine. He's tired because he works like a mad-man. I'm getting used to my wierd sleep schedule finally. He cut all of his hair off. I got mine cut too, but his is more impressive considering he had longer hair than me for our ENTIRE relationship. I had never even seen him with short hair. Um, I love it. It's pretty darn wonderful. Of course, I loved it long too. I just love him in general! My sister took some pictures of the three of us a month ago. Yes, I realize I don't blog on here very often...I'll try to be better. But here they are. Up above, apparently. Because for some unknown reason it ALWAYS likes to put the pictures I upload above my text. Which, I find to be annoying! UGH. And that's why I don't blog on here often!
Be well!
